From last few weeks http://www.esnips.com disabled download option for mp3 . Also last widely used method to download mp3 from the site has been disabled. I was trying a download a mp3 uploaded by a friend and felt very frustrated about this new update of that. So, I decompiled mp3 player embedded on there website and found the new trick they are using to hide mp3 file direct download URL.

Take an example

http://www.esnips.com/doc/559c1f01-faf9-478d-bb45-4e3535e0ac4c/9—TORI-JONNO—MOUSUMI-BHAUMIK

as per last method use, way to download the mp3 file was changing /doc/ folder name to /nsdoc/

So, the URL will be

http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/559c1f01-faf9-478d-bb45-4e3535e0ac4c/

But, they stopped it. After working long with the swf action script ( I know very less Flash actually ) I found they are using URL format as

http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/559c1f01-faf9-478d-bb45-4e3535e0ac4c/ts_id/any_random_numbers_here/ns_flash/file1.mp3

So the download URL for that file will be

http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/559c1f01-faf9-478d-bb45-4e3535e0ac4c/ts_id/323322333/ns_flash/file1.mp3

and Hey guys it is working like charm …. Enjoy….
